Max here, putting our website where our mouth is.  We're helping organizations get the word out about some great things that you can do to help make our world a better place.  This is AreUKind, 2 young men, Josh and Jake who are on a mission!

In a world filled with negativity and a 24 hour-a-day news cycle serving only to magnify all that is bad, there is an obvious shortage of kindness. If you're lucky enough to catch a positive story on the news, oftentimes they are reported as random acts of kindness. As great as those are, wouldn't inspiring Planned Acts of Kindness be even better? And wouldn't each Planned Act of Kindness help to trigger countless other random acts of kindness?

That's why we created AreUKind!  Click HERE to visit the site.

The new Jimi Hendrix biopix film "All Is By MY Side" directed by Academy Award-winning screenwriter Mark Ridley looks promisingly good with Outkast's Andre 3000 in the starring role.

Here's a clip of Jimi wooing a groupie despite the fact he has a girlfriend. The film will debut in the U.S. on March 12 at the South by Southwest's film festival.

Really stoked to read this today..  Thanks to NME for the update:

AC/DC have revealed plans to enter the studio later this year in order to record their first new album since 2008's Brendan O'Brien produced 'Black Ice'.

The band will also be heading out on a 40th anniversary tour, which, says frontman Brian Johnson, will comprise 40 special gigs. Speaking to Florida radio station Gater 98.7 - via Rolling Stone - Johnson said the band would be heading to a Vancouver studio in May to record their 16th studio album. Of a proposed anniversary tour, he added:

"Its been 40 years of the band's existence. So I think we're gonna try to do 40 gigs, 40 shows, to thank the fans for their undying loyalty. I mean, honestly, our fans are just the best in the world, and we appreciate every one of them. So, like I said, we'll have to go out, even though we're getting a bit long in the tooth. You know what? It's been four years, and I'm really looking forward to it."

What a most awesome idea.  Bruce takes a request from the audience while he is on-stage (a song they don't normally do), teaches it to the band and play it like they were doing it every night.  Check the video out at the bottom of the home page in the video section.  KILLER!

Max here:  The story behind the Beatles 1968 classic “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” is one for the ages. As Open Culture reports, George Harrison actually needed some help with the guitar solo after months of trying to find the right sound, so he asked Eric Clapton for help. So music legends united at Abbey Road Studios.

Clapton used a 1957 Gibson Les Paul to finally uncover the sound the Beatles were looking for. You can listen to "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" below along with the version featuring just Clapton’s isolated guitar track.
